Sorry, no pics of us being quirky, whacky looky-likey character drawings, or pics of our pets, just some brief words about a few regular, nice people that make up team Peppertree.
Nigel Sykes – Creative Director
With more years experience than he cares to remember, working up from Studio Junior, forever in the darkroom, to eventually Art Director. Nigel took the plunge 16 years ago foregoing the office politics, and chaos of a big agency to set up Peppertree. The reason: to offer clients the creative thinking you would expect from a big agency but at sensible, realistic rates. Passionate about good design and great images, outside of Peppertree Nigel is an advocate for mental health as well as taking in the occasional gig when he can (mainly seated these days).

Stuart Harris – Creative Copywriter and Director
Having written for the biggest agencies in Brum, with a good few accolades to boot, Stu likes to play with words and scamp out great ideas. He’s the brains of the outfit and being the intelligent one, is able to put together great TV and radio scripts, web content and enough brilliant concepts to wallpaper the studio with. Away from the hangar, Stu keeps very busy with his crew at home and when he does manage to escape it all a good bike ride clears his head.

Carl McKendrick – Artworker/Retoucher
Carl’s amazing retouching skills always manage to surprise us, he knows his way around the Mac and is precise and thorough at setting up all of our artwork. The agency guru of all things Adobe Suite, out of work Carl enjoys the odd cider or nine, is a bit of a Jimmy White around the pool table and an Arsenal supporter (can’t have everything).

Claire Taylor – Designer
Claire’s the chirpy one in the office with a can-do attitude and a level head. She likes a brew and keeps plenty of minty-type nibbles on her desk to keep her going. Claire’s had a long, experienced career in design and no task gets the better of her, a good solid all-rounder who’s creative without being precious. When we do let her go home she likes a good book, hanging out with her daughter Sadie and talking shop with her designer hubby Shauny T.

Helen Lee – Consultant Account Director
Following a 25-year successful agency career, starting with her first Account Manager role at a small, full service agency in Leeds, several moves up the ladder and reaching board level by the age of 30, Helen jumped ship and joined the world of the self-employed.
As a freelance Account Director and Project Manager, working with SMEs and small agencies, she enjoys the variety and challenge and is a master at keeping all the plates spinning. Away from the world of advertising and design, she enjoys time with her son and their puppy and at the end of the day, is also partial to the odd glass of wine!
